Existential Questions

Existential _________ (fill in your own blank)

At Roseate Therapy, we work with all kinds of existential questions that come up: existential dread, existential angst, and existential crisis (just to name a few). If you find yourself asking a lot of existential questions, we can help.

Therapy for Existential Questions

Do you find yourself searching for the meaning of life? Constantly trying to figure out your purpose in life? These big existential questions can lead to existential angst or existential dread. Often our minds quickly go down a rabbit hole or despair when faced with questions we can’t  find easy answers to.

For some people these questions are constant. For others they may come up at certain points in life:

  • during big life transitions like having a baby, going to college, motherhood, etc.
  • during grief for loved ones, times in life, or parts of ourselves.
  • when you start to challenge the status quo or live outside the norm
  • after recognizing new systems, stigmas, or worldviews
  • The way you were doing life (suddenly or slowly) stopped working for you

Existential angst may leave you with self-doubt, anxiety, or depression. We work with all of these issues using existential therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and a somatic approach. Together, we can tackle the touch questions that are weighing you down.
