The Search for a Therapist

Looking for a therapist can be (and often is) stressful. As you start your search, I hope you’ve also found some relief in beginning to see that healing can happen.

You probably have lots of questions swirling through your head as you start this journey to heal. Do you find yourself often feeling confined by what you’re ‘supposed to’ be doing? Do you find yourself struggling to figure out what you want from life? Do you often look around and feel like everyone else has it figured out? Do you find yourself spending your free (or even busy) time asking a lot of big, existential questions?

You probably also have questions about how to find the right therapist. How will you find someone you feel safe with? The search for healing and answers can feel messy. Being human can be messy. We all need a safe space to show up in the mess. In our work together, that space is what I offer you: a space where you don’t need to feel put together or focus on doing or saying what others want to hear. I invite you to let this be a space where you get to be the whole human you are. Once you’re here, we’ll work on figuring out what you want from life, how to live your life on your terms, and how to get you there.
